The Rollo

(Peteren Type K)

This Petersen Type K practice sword is named after “Rollo” (c. 860 – c. 932), the founder and first ruler of the Viking principality in what soon became known as Normandy. The hilt type is Frankish and would be contemporary to Rollo, Duke of Normandy, though the influence of the Viking sword is clearly evident.

The sword features rounded edges, stainless steel hilt components, and a dark brown leather-wrapped grip.
